"Sit-in-Seki"

Sean Smith lives in the United States in Maryville, Pennsylvania, where he owns and operates Custom Oriental Woodcraft.

With a love of bonsai for over ten years, and an extensive background in carpentry, Sean took the two and put them together and started his business making bonsai display stands, and carving daiza for renowned bonsai and suiseki enthusiasts all over North and South America, and Europe. He has lectured on suiseki and daiza carving in the United States and in Europe. Some of his work is on permanent display at the National Bonsai and Penjing Museum in Washington, DC.

From Sean: " Our suiseki daiza are traditionally styled and creatively hand carved. They are also beautifully finished to your desires. Natural satin or gloss finishes are applied to accent your suiseki."

Sean is also a contributing editor of the North American Viewing Stone Society and the International Stone Appreciation Society, and is member of the European Suiseki Society, and Ameriseki Group. He is a past president of Susquehanna Bonsai Club.

"All of our products, from turntables to miniature stands, and everything in between, are assembled one at a time. We are sure that you will find each one unique, functional, and crafted with a high degree of quality to last a lifetime"
